ReedHycalog is changing the naming convention for PDC bits to make it easier to understand a bit design in terms of the number of blades and the cutter size.
Features previously denoted with letters such as H for Hybrid and D for Diamondback® will not be included in the name. This allows the name to be shorter and simpler, but more descriptive of the most important attributes.
