TuffGage features non-protruding inserts made from very hard, wear-resistant carbide.
It may be one or two rows designed to maximize protection for the cutter heel row. This
minimizes gauge wear on the cutter-gauge face.
TuffGage proves ideal when drilling formations with high-compressive strength and/or
high abrasivity.
